So, I’m confused again. Let me describe the situation for you.
I’m ready to participate in the singing in the worship service. There is a male person on the platform who is the obvious leader. There are also three female singers with him. The words come up on the screen. The band plays the introduction to the song. The male leader begins to sing…the female singers don’t start with him. What am I supposed to do? Is this a solo by the male leader? Is this song for everyone to join…if so, why aren’t the female singers singing? Are they tacit for this song? Maybe it’s just for all the males in the congregation…but I can’t tell. I’m not sure what to do. How do you suppose I responded? I quit! If I’m not sure what to do, I’m not going to start all by myself…no solo part for me! Uh, Uh! Please let me know what to do…make it clear. Think about these things from the standpoint of the person in the pew…please?
Jubal, if you had been there, what would you do? Start playing and dancing in the aisle, I suppose!
